Emily Sinha has been in the beauty industry for over 11 years and is loving it now more than ever. Emily began her career in Dallas, Texas, where she worked her way to become Master Stylist, an Aveda color educator and a member of the Creative Editorial Team for one of the top salons downtown.
Emily is contracted with Backstage Aveda for NY Fashion Week as well as a makeup artist for Bobbi Brown, QVC and Laura Mercier. She specializes in various balayage techniques, dimensional color applications, beachy hair textures and precision cutting styles. Her updo’s are first rate as well as her extensive career in the bridal community. Emily is a multi-published hair designer in Texas Bridal Magazine as well as award winning in the Dallas/Fort Worth area for editorial hair design and Local Shoutouts.
Emily remains very well rounded as a stylist by attending classes and workshops to best service her clients in the most up to date ways possible. She is inspired by streetwear fashion and effortless hairstyles – performing manageable hair designs suitable for either a gal on the go, fashionista or busy moms. Consultations are very important to her in order to tailor to her guest’s lifestyle as well as suggesting expertise for adjustments. Her belief is that “each client is unique and their hair should be too.” Leading her peers to inspire, Emily is truly top in her game. All of this said, her favorite part of her job is still making meaningful connections and relationships with guests – so if you like good conversation and great hair “y’all” would be an excellent match!
Outside of work Emily utilizes the Colorado lifestyle to the fullest. Backpacking, fishing and mountain biking the great outdoors are second nature. She educates herself on primitive survival as well as showing interest in exploring more of Colorado’s wilderness. She’s found herself completely fulfilled living in Colorado- the dichotomy of the beauty industry in the city and the outdoorsy lifestyle she lives for. She’s grateful to hang her hat at Deseo Salon while making friends and connections along the way. Emily Sinha works full time Sunday through Wednesday, open to close.
